Hey everyone, It looks like it’s time to wish all of the Americans a Happy Thanksgiving. I’m trying to find a way to invite myself to a friend’s house for the weekend – an American friend. I want to eat turkey, mashed potatoes and apple pie until I need to take off my pants. Actually, I don’t usually even need an excuse to take off my pants – but it would be nice to have a reason anyway.

SexInYourCity Meets Pick Up Artists

If you’re interested in what really goes on in the world of Pickup Artists take a look at the newest SexInYourCity article. I was able to not only interview Nick Savoy owner and operator of Love Systems, formerly Mystery Method Corp, publisher of the Magic Bullets Handbook and the Routines Manual, (phew) but I was able to attend one of their bootcamp seminars being held in my neck of the woods.

Very interesting stuff. But now of course all the guys around me are constantly quizzing me on pickup lines and other tips and tricks. Don’t worry guys I will be writing about them in the upcoming article! I’m curious if anyone else out there has had any experience with Pickup artists? Did you find them useful? Cool? Did you read a book, watch a video or even ever attend one of these seminars yourself?

I can barely keep up with all the changes going on at SexInYourCity. Users now have the option to create their own backgrounds for their profiles! Case of blue balls? Then go for the blue. Feeling interested in a little lesbian action ladies? Go for the purple! If you’re not comfortable in English and prefer French, Dutch or Spanish just click on the language of your choice and the site instantly translates! Not bad, eh (that’s my Canadian site coming out)?

We’re still working on everyone’s feedback and every week you can find new options! The Sex Magazine is opened up for everyone to read too. Also if you’re into following me on Twitter or Facebook the links are on the magazine and will take you directly there. We’re still getting a great influx of people to the site which is always good to see too.

On a completely unrelated note – for the WOMEN out there reading this. I was having a conversation with some girlfriends and it got onto the topic of porn. SexInYourCity Learns to Pick Up!

I am heading to the Pickup Artist bootcamp seminar tomorrow. I can’t wait to see and hear what really goes on at these things! Part of me is fascinated with the whole thing and the other part is a little nervous. Do these guys really know ALL about the female psychology? Do they know more about me than…well, than me? Will they read and sum me up the moment I walk in? And will their tricks help on an adult dating site?

I’m hoping to walk out of there with a new appreciation for men and the trials they go through when approaching and picking up woman. And of course to have a few hints and techniques to share with our SexInYourCity members. Either way this should shape up to be a very interesting and eye opening weekend. I’m hoping they are as honest and forthright even though there will be a woman in the audience.

SexInYourCity Is Still Growing

This summer has flown by. I can't believe only a few short weeks and all those short skirts and bikinis will be put away until next season. I feel really grateful to be still working with SexInYourCity. Getting to watch the site grow, meeting members and taking care of the magazine has been quite the experience. Unfortunately it's not beneficial to my adult dating life.

While I've managed to have a few memorable flings - my sex life for the most part has dwindled to an unacceptable level. That's it. I need to find a late night booty call friend. Someone who doesn't care if I call once a week or once every few months.

Not SexInYourCity "WOOF WOOF!"

I don’t mind using my embarrassment for your amusement. As with all things in life there are the good and the bad. Yes, this is especially true with an adult dating site.

I had been messaging back and forth a couple of times with this guy. Let’s call him Jack. I didn’t meet him on Sexinyourcity but another adult dating site which shall remain nameless. Things were going well. I was looking for more of a part time lover than one night slam and bam. He was interesting, sarcastic and intelligent. Perfect for that position (and hopefully others).

I’m not big on the telephone. I really would prefer to write or meet in person rather than make awkward small talk. So we planned a date to meet for a quick drink.

We met for about 30 minutes and Jack maintained his adult dating email persona perfectly. I couldn’t wait to get into his pants. About a week later we planned a night of drinks at his house – in other words it was time to get naked.

The next 10 minutes were spent with Jack extolling the virtues of BDSM. I downed my wine. I am up for a lot of things. And I mean a lot. But slurping water from a dog bowl while being called Fido was not one of them. At least not tonight.

Hey, freakier the better. But not once in our emails or meeting did he mention this personal fetish of his. And why is he springing this on me now? If you can’t be honest on an adult dating site about your sexual proclivities then you shouldn’t be on one.

Oh yah, and if you did fail to mention it on the adult site, keep the kink hidden until your date has had time to finish at least one glass of wine.
